Why membership?

Church is a family and membership is how we know who is part of our family (Hebrews 13:17). The leaders of the church are called to shepherd the people among them, and the people are called to submit to their church leaders (1 Peter 5:1-15). Membership is the context for this.

What should members expect?

Becoming a member of Veritas Church is a call to intentional discipleship. Two of the critical elements of discipleship are grace and truth. Our members can expect both as the leaders of the church challenge and encourage them to lead the way in living out the mission of Veritas Church: to multiply disciples of Jesus Christ. Members can expect to know their church leaders and also be known by them. Finally, our members can expect to be treated as family, to be prayed for on a regular basis, and for their voice to be listened to.
