Music Team Auditions

The Music Team at Veritas Church and The Salt Company exists to serve our church by glorifying God and celebrating the gospel together. We are always on the lookout for skilled musicians and vocalists in our midst who can serve in this way. If you are interested in being a part of our team, please follow these steps:

1) First, read our Vision & Expectations document. Leading our church in worship is an important task, and we hold our Music Team to a high standard of faithfulness and excellence - before you apply, it is important to understand what you're signing up for!

2) After you understand the expectations, please fill out the Worship Team Application. Once we receive your application, we’ll reach out to you about finding a time to audition on Sunday, April 14. We will have time slots available between 12:00p-4:00p. If there is not a time in this window that is available for you, we will do our best to find another time to hold your audition.

The practice materials for each position on the team are posted below. Please learn the song prior to your audition, and if you have any questions about the process or our team, please send us an email and let us know. We look forward to hearing from you!

Practice Materials 

Female Vocals

For female vocalists, we will have you sing lead vocals on Who You Say I Am and harmony on Living Hope.

Male Vocals

For male vocalists, we will have you sing lead vocals on Living Hope and harmony on Who You Say I Am.

Drums

For drummers, we will have you play King of Kings. Included below are audio files of the original song, a practice track with the drums and a practice track without the drums.

Piano

For piano players, we will have you play Holy (Song of the Ages). Included below are audio files of the original song, a practice track with the piano part and a practice track without the piano part.

Electric Guitar

For electric guitarists, we will have you play Great Things. Included below are audio files of the original song, a practice track with the electric part and a practice track without the electric part.

Bass

For bass players, we will have you play Great Things. Included below are audio files of the original song, a practice track with the bass part and a practice track without the bass part.
